Lately, it seems, I've been on a bit of a red-lip kick. I love the way it brightens up the face and creates contrast and intensity. It's also a great way to add a fail-safe pop of colour to an otherwise neutral outfit, like this earth toned one that I wore to stroll around Gastown recently. Happy Monday!

I love it! I wish I could wear red lipstick,but because I'm heavier on the eyeshadow then I like to stay lighter on the lips. Your pictures are so inspiring!

Love the earthy tones, Jen! I kind of wish I had bought the brown version of the CM skirt that I've noticed a bunch of you girls have (Alex and Melissa too, I think) but instead I bought the pink/gold. I'll have to wear it more... I really do like the shape!

You pull off a red lip SO well, Jen! It's gorgeous on you! I was just thinking the other day that I need a new red... mine never seems to show in photos? It's not super opaque, so perhaps that's the issue. Either way, yours always POP and look so amazing! Love it with the neutrals!
