Tuesday Treats

I've been finding this "not-yet-freezing-cold but nowhere-near-warm" time of the year rather inspiring: never knowing how the sky will look like in the morning seems to open up a need to improvise and be creative. I've recently been drawn to be more inventive with the things in my closet and have been intentional about things like an afternoon of chatting with girlfriends and being outside to enjoy the leaves. I'm definitely hoping that this frame of mind sticks around for a while.

{pretty plum coloured vintage trousers (c/o Shoppalu - check them out!) that I can't wait to get tailored and wear with equally luxe colours}

{much needed downtime with my besties over afternoon tea}

{finding inventive ways to layer jewelry pieces, like two strands of pearls and my jeweled headband as necklaces}

{enjoying savouring the autumn leaves on sunny days}

*squeals* pleeeeeeeeeeeease tell me where you got your YSL ring from!!!! Since I can't get my hands on the Lapis anymore I've been looking for that new colour everywhere!

Jen, your "Tuesday Treats" always inspire me. :)

You know that I adore your YSL ring. It's definitely one of the most coveted pieces around. I have yet to own one for myself, and while I could easily treat myself to one, I think it's much more sweeter when it's gifted. I'm sure you feel the same way, since David gave this one to you!

I hope one day you and I can enjoyed afternoon tea together. The Pirate and I are possibly going to Las Vegas in March for his 30th and our 3rd Wedding anniversary... we should meet up! Convince David. tee hee!

Anyhoo, I wish you a fabulous weekend. I can't believe it's already November. Where does the time go?

Oooo, it is getting cold in Vancouver. Please post warm weather clothing choices! :) I love all of your outfits but as a UBC student, I'm a jeans and sneakers/flats kind of girl with all the walking around. I'm curious to know what were your UBC go-to outfits like?

With that freak snow storm pounding the east coast on Halloween, I'm glad I'm leaving Detroit right when it's getting super cold.

Today was about 56F (13Cish), and it was sunny and glorious, but the other day it was like, 36F (2.2C), and I was like, "I'm so effing over this."

And I am.
