The last time I posted this skirt, it was warm enough to go bare-legged and jacket-less. While it's much too cold for that now, I wanted to wear the piece again since the saturated colours and pattern are much too beautiful to stow away. While I can also imagine it easily transitioning into every season, I particularly love the lush feeling it exudes for the winter months when worn with darker hues and a double layer of black tights.
Wearing: BCBG down jacket, H&M skirt, Zara booties
*gasp* That H&M skirt is truly amazing! I was looking at it on their website. But in life it's even prettier!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your lady-like ensemble, that's such a wonderful full skirt. Very pretty blog :)

ReplyDeleteDefinitely a winter-friendly outfit! (: The colours in the skirt are so rich and vibrant, I see nothing wrong with wearing it in winter; it looks really nice with the coat too. Hope that you had a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteOh wow! I would've never thought of pairing a bomber jacket with a lovely floral piece, looks adorable!

Wow you did such a great job styling this skirt! I always have a hard time coming up with outfits that involve skirts or dresses during the winter...I'm too scared about being cold :( I will definitely try the layered tights trick this winter though, and can only hope to make any of my skirts look this good in freezing weather.
ReplyDeleteThat jacket matches perfectly with the skirt - a very lovely look!
ReplyDeleteI am hosting a GIVEAWAY: You can win a beautiful handmade copper plated feather necklace!
Wow- I LOVE that jacket!

I love the detail on your jacket collar, it's so different and fun.
ReplyDeleteYou know how fond I am of this skirt, Jen. The colours look so beautiful with everything, but they stand out even more against basic black. And that down jacket is by far the most refined parka I've ever seen!

Eee that down jacket is fab! It's actually quite shapely while looking super warm.
ReplyDeleteThis is great. The way that the fabric of the skirt pleats is pretty sublime.

Jen, oh how I've missed your gorgeous face. I see you are looking as spectacular as ever. You look so cozy chic. I LOVE it. :) I always envy the girlies that can layer clothing during this time of year. The weather on Maui has been very temperamental as of late. Yesterday it was in the mid 80's, today it's in the low 70's. (which is "cold" for us locals, lol. I know we're wimps).
ReplyDeleteI hope you've been well. Love ya!

Such an edgy look! Love love love! Where did you get your sunglasses from? I must get a pair now!
